ORBIT CAPITAL is a private, independent investment company that provides corporate advisory services, focusing on capital raisings, preparation for Stock Exchange listing and listed investment opportunities. Orbit Capital was founded in early 2000.
ORBIT CAPITAL holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFS Licence No. 230327), issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
ORBIT CAPITAL’s Managing Director and founder, Greg Baynton, has extensive experience in founding and structuring new companies and raising seed and venture capital. His career has spanned the public and private sector, including appointments in investment banking, merchant banking, start-ups, IPOs and Queensland Treasury.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), a Master of Economic Studies (UQ), a Post-graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment (SIA), and an MBA in New Venture Management (QUT). Greg Baynton is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.
He is a former Authorised Representative of ABN AMRO Morgans Corporate Limited and is a Director of ASX-listed companies including PIPE Networks Limited (ASX: PWK), Tissue Therapies Limited (ASX: TIS) and Lodestone Exploration Limited (ASX: LOD).
